Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with Kindred Spirit Style. We value your satisfaction and strive to provide a seamless shopping experience both in-store and online. Please review our refund policy below:
1. Return Approval Process
To ensure a smooth return process, please email us at customerservice@kindredspiritstyle.com with 'RETURN APPROVAL' as the subject line. Be sure to include your ORDER NUMBER and ITEM NAME in your email. Returns without prior approval cannot be accepted.
2. Store Credit Policy
We gladly accept all qualifying returns for store credit or exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, and free from odors, stains, or damage. Store credits will be issued via your customer account email and never expire.
3. Final Sale Items
**Final Sale Items**:
- Items marked at 40% off or more.
- BOGO deals, where only the item purchased at full price qualifies for return. Refunds apply to the discounted item (50% off), regardless of its price.
- Items marked with 'FINAL' or sale items priced at or below cost.
- For hygienic purposes: earrings, hair accessories (including hats), socks, and eyewear.
**Note:** Final sale items cannot be combined with additional coupons.
4. Non-Qualifying Returns
Items returned with smells of smoke, pet odor, body odor, stains, animal hair, or signs of being washed, worn, or damaged will not qualify for store credit or exchange.
If your items do not qualify for return, you have the following options:
- Use store credit (if available) to cover the shipping cost of returning the items to you.
- Pay for return shipping to have the items sent back to you.
If no arrangements are made within 30 days, the items will no longer be eligible for return or retrieval and will be discarded.
5. Exchange Policy
If you need a different size, we recommend purchasing the new size first to ensure availability. Include your new order number when returning the original item. Once we receive the return, we will issue store credit for the original item.
**Note:** Shipping costs for exchanges are charged at USPS rates and are the customer's responsibility.

Returns are processed within 5 business days of receipt. Store credit will be issued via your customer account email. **Please note:** Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

**Shoes:** Must be returned in their original box, which should be placed inside a protective shipping box. Damaged shoe boxes will render the return ineligible.
**Defective Items or Shipment Issues:** Please inspect items upon arrival and report any damages or shipment issues within 2 days to customerservice@kindredspiritstyle.com. We are committed to promptly resolving such issues.
8. Changes to Orders
If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us at 901-235-6945 immediately after purchase. Our business hours are Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM CST. For after-hours requests, email customerservice@kindredspiritstyle.com. Please note, we may not be able to modify orders that have already been processed or shipped.
9. Giveaway Winners
Giveaway items or credits must be claimed within 10 days. These items are not eligible for return or exchange. **Note:** For international winners, prizes cannot be shipped and must be forfeited.
10. Care Instructions
For items labeled 'Hand Wash Only,' avoid machine washing, even on a delicate cycle. Hand wash in your sink or tub with a gentle detergent to prevent shrinkage, fabric wear, or color bleeding. Always follow the care instructions on the garment tag to keep your items in excellent condition.
